Vitalii Zakaznov

Hey, I'm Vitalii — a 21-year-old product engineer from Dnipro, Ukraine, now based in Athens, Greece, with 7+ years of commercial experience building user-facing web and mobile products in React, Next.js and TypeScript — from Figma designs to production, with Node.js on the backend where needed — for startups and product teams. I started out in IT at 14, building landing pages for my first freelance clients.

Right now I'm building web analytics at Statable — data-heavy React dashboards, API integrations and an embeddable widget.

On the side I ship my own products: SafetyMap, Laikimap, SimpleInvoice and GreekNameDays. Each one started as something I needed myself and couldn't find, so I built it properly and made it work for everyone else too.

Before that I spent a year at Ito on AI code review that runs your code, where I moved the codebase from a monolith to a Turborepo monorepo and worked mostly in the Next.js app — and nearly two years at Jobbit building cross-platform React Native apps.

I'm finishing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering at Oles Honchar Dnipro National University.

I work remotely from Athens in distributed, English-speaking teams, and I'm open to relocation across the EU — I have EU work authorization under Temporary Protection.

Outside of work I'm into fitness and keeping an eye on whatever is new in tech.
